Dear Sir, A new Consulting company registered in West Bengal wants to hire an employee for providing equipment repairing services from client location time to time ( client is a manufacturing industry). For time being, the hiring of employees (5 employees to be hired) is on a temporary basis for 4-6 months. The category of the employee is Service Personnel.
The entry into the client premises needs Group Insurance, PF registration Certificate, ESI registration certificate.
1) Kindly guide how to maintain Employee PF, ESI for temporary hiring of employees?
2) What other legal license is needed by the company to perform the duty in West Bengal?
3) Applicable labor laws to be maintained by the company.

If the consulting company has already PF, ESI registration , then problem is less. Otherwise, the company has to obtain voluntarily PF & ESI Code through the respective net service.
As the number of employee is less than 10, therefore, no labour license is required.
As the employees will work in a manufacturing unit, Factories Act and Rule will be applicable to them. Over and above Minimum Wages, Payment of wages. Bonus, Gratuity etc. will also be applicable
