We have been running an IT company in India since Feb 2016, and after finally gathering the financial strength, Registered company on 24th May 2017. However, we have had 2 people working for us since Feb 2016.
What I would like to ask is, are they eligible for an experience letter since the time of company registration or since the time they are working?
If we were to give them an offer letter after company registration, what date would the offer letter mention as the date of joining?

Hope you have obtained shop & establishment registration certificate for your company. Under this act you need to issue appointment letter to your all employees.
Your employee is eligible to get experience letter from Feb'2016, since they have worked from these dates.

Thanks to you Praveen for answering my query.Yes we completed all registration formality.So as you advised we will issue experience letter to them from feb 2016.
Is there any thing speacial to mention about my my company registration in there experience letter or any normal format available in this forum will work,However I think it's not necessary .
but there concern is as there is only proof which any future employer will see is registration date of our company & they may face problem by showing experience before registration period.But I think they are unnecessarily worrying.
As they are associated with us from beginning & we have a good relationship now so I don't want they will face any type of problem in future.
So please clear me is there chance of any problem they have in future employment .

When you are ready to testify the experience prior to the registration of the unit, there would be no issue in accepting it by any new employer. Normally, the employers won't bother about registration date of an employer, as it is very much understandable that there has to be a lot of spade work involved before the unit is registered. In deed such experience is counted and valued as green field experience is really worth as you work with lot of uncertainties.

As a matter of fact, the amount of jobs required for registration of a company is an education by itself.
The company ca give you an experience certificate indicating your expertise in that area also.

In my personal opinion that registration of any business venture under any Law is a matter similar to that of issuance of birth certificate to a new born baby. Formation of the enterprise is antecedent to the process of registration. Even a proprietorship concern can be converted into partnership or private limited company and so on in its entire life cycle at any point of time. So, what is important in the matter of service certificate to any employee is from what exact date he was in the service of the establishment prior or after its registration under any Law applicable for the purpose..
