Hi RA2011,
My suggestion to you is go for technical first, as per my understanding once you will have a strong base of technical, u can easily start your move towards management field. As that PMO will be your next level target. but once you will be in management field and in project handling and a less in technical, its will be hard nut to crack again the technical field.
Choice is yours. And mark my words opportunity will come, just prepare yourself accordingly. You will loose nothing.............

Hi Mr. Bhaskar,
This thread is quite thoughtful.
My goals of life are always short terms, once I achieve it or almost done with it then I usually plans the next destination.
As per my career is concern I want to learn a lot in HR field and be strong enough with the practical experiences to guide others and give my suggestions which becomes valuable to others.
As per my experiences I believe that goals should be beyond your reach so atleast you will end up with something you love to do. Definately this needs a lot of patience, confidence and passion.
And I would love to suggest dream a lot and think what is beyond your reach, it helps you know the new ways of reaching your actual desired goals.
I hope I have put my views effectively.
With lots of wishes to you all for having such a nice discussion on this kind of topic.
