Our ancestors had no clothes to wear , no house for privacy
only healthy mindset and belief . A criminal mind , sick mind
can think of raping a 3/4 year old child what provocation we are
talking about?? I am in agreement for punishment with Muslim
countries where such sick people would be stoned to death
in public view Please what daughters / sisters have done to be
raoed by fathers and brothers. Please don't bring attire and
western culture in the picture but sick and filthy mindset and
lack of needed punishment.

Onething, i am really not able to understand........are men really weak who can't control their feelings and behave like WILD ANIMALS. There must be something wrong with those men involved in such dirty/selfish/ruthless/wild activities...For sure, they don't have FEAR OF GOD in their HEART'S nor they BELIEVE AND HAVE FAITH IN GOD....Such people are ANIMALS but not HUMANS....

sorry friend, don’t insult animals. They don’t rape. comparing rapists to animals is not relevant. Rapists can not be compared with any creatures, they are psycos. pon

Hijaab for men
People usually only discuss ‘hijaab’ in the context of women. However, in the Glorious Qur’an, Allah (swt) first mentions ‘hijaab’ for men before ‘hijaab’ for the women.
The Qur’an mentions in Surah An Noor:
“Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty: that will make for greater purity for them: and Allah is well acquainted with all that they do.”[Al Qur’an 24:30]
The moment a man looks at a woman and if any brazen or unashamed thought comes to his mind, he should lower his gaze.

So long as we look for others to blame, be they scantily clad women, cheap films, western culture etc etc, the problem will not go away. In fact, we are in danger of rationalising and to some extent even validating such monstrous behaviour. Irrespective of external temptations or tittilations, truly humane persons, with a sense of innate dignity and self-respect would never force themselves on another. Such acts must be consensual. Moreover, when we talk about rape, it is not sex here but also violence in the extreme. Of course, humans have strong urges, but we also need to have the strength to control them. it is about respecting the other and most of all about respecting yourself. it is about the values and morals you possess.

And yes, it is definitely about upbringing. i am married to an Englishman who is equally appalled at the recent horriffic tragedy in Delhi. My son is British and a fine young gentleman who treats all women as ladies, including the person who comes to help us clean our house, I have always been proud to be an Indian in my British family but just now, seeing how women who form half our population are treated in India - be it female foeticide, dowry killings, or "eve-teasing"- my pride, not in my country but in many of its menfolk, is somewhat tempered.

Here's an old study, yet stands relevant till date. A criminal mind needs no provocation. It is destined to commit crimes. It will prey upon , no matter what. A capital punishment will instil fear. Need of the hour is a value based society and strong rehabilitation system, for the survivors.

Actually, I had seen 99.99% females are decent or just friendly. Only 0.01 % females are over-friendly and want to be center of attraction always. For which, they can do anything. In my one of the experience, if you become whistleblower to her, so that no one misbehave with her. Those 0.01% female revert to you with rudeness, telling that mind on your business and they will be, what they were and are.
But... on the other side 99.99% males are always watching females with bad intensions, even though they are not proceeding further.
Something is missing because in animals when mating season comes male attracts and pleases females to love. There is nothing like rape, female\'s wish is always superior in animals.
My question is that did we lowered our mentality even than animals by suppressing natural instinct of respecting females???
From childhood females are treated always like 2nd class citizen for study options, daily meal, household labour work etc.

Hello Viewers,
Since the start of this thread, the condition of the young girl NIRBHAYA - The Brave Heart,
worsened and she is no longer with us.
The Indian Government is seriously contemplating to enact and enforce more stringent laws.
In my view the debate on who is to be blamed will not take us far.
It is time that due importance is given to teaching of MORAL from a very young age
to all the children and ensure that they grow as more responsible and law abiding citizens.

During childhood, her brother was loaded with new shoes, dresses and books to learn while she was gifted a broom, a wiper and lots of tears. In her teenage, she missed tasty delicious food to eat and got only the crumbs. During her college days, she was forced to get married, now India is in favor to save the gal child but saving and die afterwards the way of the Rap Victim is better to die in the childhood.
We all are proud citizens of India. The need of hour is to realize our responsibilities and give a halt to this evil crime.Government took long time to punish kasab because he was the citizen of other country in this case of Nirbhaya it has been convicted by the culprits and still the government is taking time to give the decision.
