Be punctual ..
If u have received any form to fill up before interview, fill up full form with accuracy..
Give references of your Seniors of previous job in your cv..
Have full glass of water before entering into meeting room, so u will not get nervous..

The first thing an interviewer observers is how you are entering the room.
If it is a closed door, did you knock and enter, did you slam the door etc. becomes the first impression.
Generally the seats of the interviewers are arranged in such a way that they get a chance to watch you walk to them.
Did you walk confidently, shabbily, briskly, carelessly, arrogantly etc. becomes the next part of the first impression.
The way you are dressed is the next important part of the first impression.
Is your dress formal, causual, shabby, etc. The colour of the dress( colour psychology), the way you have knoted the tie, the buttoning of your suit ,the shoes and so on will be observed.
Your hair syle, coluring, body piercing etc. can be very strong first impression creators.
The way you smile is the next most important thing.
Lastly the way you greet conforms and brings a final first impression.

That means first 20 feet, when you enter to the interview hall, your dressing code, your walking style, your total view is watched.
Second 20 inch, when you are sitting before an interviewers, your smell (should not be bad smell. You can use perfume like this material)
Third your begining first 20 words should be bold, honesty, enthusiastic.
If you follow this basic 20:20:20 method, you can shine.

There are a lot of suggestions posted here, but I can tell you from experience as a manager that I would always look for the following when I was interviewing someone:
Friendly, positive disposition
Eye contact (VERY important)
Honesty & Integrity (don't try to BS the interviewer...)
Neatly attired & clean
Above all, be yourself and don't TRY to impress... an interviewer will see right through that behaviour!
