Just say that the job was no longer challenging, and that your skills and experience were not being utilized to optimum advantage. So it was time to seek a new position where you could take on new challenges and develop new skills. You need to word that in your own way.
Under no circumstances mention being forced to resign or office politics. That is irrelevant and a red flag to potential employers. You need to be positive and pitch the idea that moving to a new job will benefit a potential employer. So the emphasis has to be on skills and experience and what you can bring to a new employer in terms of helping their organization move forward.
The key to this is moving the conversation away from the reason for leaving. You have to MANAGE the interview and keep the interviewer focused solely on what you have to offer.
