Actually, it depends on your Leave Policy, which you have mentioned there.
If he comes on Friday, then Only Monday we can consider Leave.

Generally we follows as below.

CL cannot be prefixed and suffixed to Sundays or holidays. For e.g. If leave is availed on a Monday, Saturday and Sunday being an off day followed by Tuesday which again is a holiday, then in such a situation one extra day will be treated as CL.
