Dear Sangeeta,
First of all, never lose heart when u come across such situations 'coz in case u didn't have the right skills & aptitude, u wud hav never been able 2 survive in recruitment industry for 3 yrs! Anywayz, the recession blues r certainly having an impact on the hiring spree these days & the recruitment industry is worst hit as it dependz solely on generation of new jobs. Still, it doesn't mean that these firms aren't hiring at all...but ya, 2 survive in stiff competition u need 2 leverage ur existing skills. Before appearing for any interview, do ur home-wrk...by now, u must hav got a hold on wat kinda questions they put up for non-IT recruitments...gather knowledge abt other verticals as well like FMCG, Hospitality, Health-care, Education,Insurance etc which r still hot-cakes...and try 2 convince the person abt how u wud use ur recruitment skills 2 tap the candidate potential for these sectors...All the best!

hi. there is nothing like recession affecting your career. it is the attitude that counts. so keep moving. there is no organised pattern for HR questions. u have experience for 3 yrs...... so i think you have moulded urself in your career. that sounds great. cheer up. dont give up. keep trying.
