Dear senior,

I restarted my career last year after a 4-year gap (maternity break), bringing with me 6 years of experience in both recruitment and generalist roles. Currently, I am working as an HR executive (generalist) in the BPO sector. Initially, there was a balance between work and learning opportunities.

However, since the onset of the pandemic, the learning curve has flattened, and work has become scarce. Day by day, it feels like everything I had learned is fading away, and the job market for my profile seems limited.

I seek your guidance on how I can enhance my profile through learning new skills. Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.

Hi Sanjana,

You may start learning about statutory compliance as there have been some amendments implemented over the past 4 years. Additionally, you can begin working as a freelancer on recruitment/HR projects.
