I have a notice period of 3 months and my org. is asking me to serve 3 months as I am willing to serve 1 month of notice and ready to pay the whole amount in lieu of notice for another 2 months. I have told everything to my manager that I am going to join XYZ company and now they are saying that they would not provide me the relieving letter if i will leave the job after 1 month. On the other hand I got the acceptance mail of my resignation after 8 days and stating that you need serve 3month as per the policy and your end date would be ABC. I need my relieving letter to show to the company and right now i cant serve whole 3 months in my present company.
Please confirm me what should i do in this situation. I am in mental trauma.
