• Learn to be straight with people, whom you come across in your life; rather then be a Goody Goody man. Goody Goody men are worthless.
• Learn to say ‘No’, if you are not agreeing with. (Even with your Boss)
• Let people think of you, as per their mind set, you remain pure hearted and fearless in every situation.
• Remember “The God Creates Milk First and Then Sends the Child.”
This will ease your life and you will never face such problem and shall not require anybody's advice or help.

Hi,
i would like to suggest you that by avoiding somebody you can not get the solution reply him professionaly through mail. ignorance of mail will not sounds good. try to avoid his phone but instantly reply thrg msg. & try do the full n final settlement. if u will start avoiding him he will not support u in yr settlement .first do yr work by being polite after that u can say frankly that my current company is not allowing me to do any partial or full work for any other company. Never go for work for him once u will go it may cause problem to u may be possible yr current company wil able to know that u r stll working with that co. that may harms u .Play Smartly.

Dear Krishna,

Your case is really critical. As Soma said , you have to react to his calls politely, but it is not always possible, when a person did not support in your career. But, what exactly you want.... still you r expecting that due amount from him or you are not expecting anything from him as well as you don't want to help him as he didn't support.

In both the cases, you have solution. If you are looking for your money back, just mark a mail to him asking your bonus/sal/whatever is due, wait for his reply. If his reply is positive, take the print out of that mail and go to his office with one who can support you.

If he says no to your mail, you need not to think whether you have to help him or not. If he is irritating you with mails, block his ID and if he is irritating you with calls, call up to the call center and ask them to block the calls from his number.

We learn many things from many people in each and every stage, whethehr they are bad or good. You might have learned from him how to avoid people. The same message, what you have quoted here about your ex-manager, send it to your ex-manger saying that I was disppointed on that and can't help you sir.

We are professionls, we can't be rude, we should become role models to our juniors and our subordinates. Success is a state of mind, if you believe in yourself, then you will be successful. Success and Excusses doesn't walk together.

All the best.

Please read the Book " DON’T SAY YES WHEN YOU WANT TO SAY NO" by Hebert Fensterheim Ph.D (Making life right when it feels all wrong). This will help you to change your life.

Rather, I think one can write a book on "How to complicate small things !"
What is the difficulty in telling the previous boss, that he should make a reality check; that the person is no longer working in his company; that it is not possible while working for one company to work for another company etc etc,.
If the boss can not work without this person, then let him make a better counter-offer and bring the person back to his company !! Simple.
I do not understand, what is the "emotional handle" that the ex-boss is using, when in any case, he has not been a very good boss in the past ??
Had the poster/thread-initiator been a female and the ex-boss a male; then this constitute sexual harassment and "stalking".
I think the best solution to come out of this abnormal and exploitative situation is to warn the ex-boss one last time and then report the matter to law-enforcement agencies.
"Too much" of anything should not be tolerated. There is a limit to courtesy and decency.
Warm regards.

Dear Rajkumar ji,
It seems he finds difficult to take decision and that is not a weakness. It comes with experience. He has to change from the "submissive" type of "assertive" type. In that context only I suggested the book. The skill to take quick and correct decision and to convey the right message in the right spirit comes only through experience.
He could have told politely yet firmly that he is preoccupied and hence cannot spare any time.

Dear forum member,
When we are young, we believe that saying a no is equivalent to being "bad." Please dissassociate these two from each other.
When your ex-boss next calls you, suggest the following:
"Sir/(Name), I am not very sure why you continue to impress upon my time with matters of my previous employment. This is affecting my present assignments. It would be great if you could avoid making these calls in the future".
If the call continues, you can use this script the next time;
"Sir/(Name), we have discusses this once earlier, but I guess I was not very clear! If you want me to stop taking your calls, let me know. I am now a little busy, however, you can call me @ (give a very inconvenient out of office time!)
If calls continue further... make a formal complaint to his boss.
Do let me know if this was helpful :)

Hi,

Warn him that you will go to Labour court if he not clear your dues. Even then if he don't clear your dues and u don't want to go to Labour court, write a draft containing heading, "Employees harassed by his boss in <name of company>" write help of seniors n friends. Address to Labour department, CC to news paper agencies. Write a letter to the MD that ur dues are not cleared n if company not cleared the dues u'll get this publish in news paper. Every company worries abt its image, so i assure you that company will clear your all dues. Even in my college life at the time of graduation, i've published the name of my college & director when they started deducting unofficial amount from refundable security. And they immediately refunded whole amount of all students.

Same thing I used in a company also. I’ve worked in a small company in Delhi. There I faced same situation. Company not paid the salary for 3 months by saying that it is not getting business. I got the salary by doing that.

I wish t8 ur dues to be cleared soon.
