The recommendation by the auditor to calculate on a daily basis based on actual vs minimum wages and to pay whichever is higher is essentially just another way of doing the calculation. In my opinion, if it is beneficial to employees, you should proceed with it. The mode of payment, whether daily, weekly, or monthly, is a management decision and has nothing to do with your calculation method or any rule. You may discuss internally among the management team to make a final decision.
