Dear Devika,
If you are a manager, there is no doubt that you do not fall under the purview of the Industrial Disputes Act. You also have not disclosed why they have terminated you - whether it was for cost-cutting, business closure, or any other reason. Also, if other people who have been terminated do not hold positions similar to yours and fall under the category of workmen, they can raise their voices against it. The more people involved, the stronger the case will become.
Please review your appointment letter to determine the notice period you are entitled to. You can approach the Civil court for your dues. In such cases, I often advise sending a legal notice first, and based on my experience, in 95% of cases, the matter gets settled within 2-3 months. Nowadays, most companies prefer to avoid litigation and opt to settle with the other party.
As you described, if employees of the workmen category are terminated without proper notice and compensation, it could pose a headache for the company if those individuals decide to take the matter to the Labour court. Therefore, if possible, please unite and seek assistance from the Labour Commissioner in your area.
Feel free to revert in case of further queries or any doubts.

Dear Devika,
Firstly, talk to your HR. Have you received a termination letter from your immediate boss or your company HR? Were you caught engaging in any unethical activities, such as visiting restricted sites on the internet or any kind of misconduct that led to termination? Before taking any legal action, ensure that everything is clear from your side.
There is software available that many companies have purchased, which allows tracing of the workflow from a particular PC. This software can track whichever sites you visit, whatever documents you prepare, and everything that is downloaded. I suggest you speak with your HR.
Thank you.

Hi Devika,
One thing you can do is ask your HR for the exact reason for your termination. Your HR should provide the reason, whether it is due to cost-cutting or any unethical reasons. Have there been any recent amalgamations or joint ventures involving your company?
Please let me know if you need further assistance.

Hi Devika,
First, go through your employment terms and conditions. Accordingly, as Mr. Anil rightly said, I suggest you meet with your local/regional labor commissioner/inspector with your written complaint against your employer. Also, reach out to your local police by forming a team that has faced the same problem along with you.
Regards,
Gayathri.

Respected Sir,
I am writing to bring to your attention an issue regarding the implementation of MGNREGA in New Delhi Rural Development, under the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India. This pertains to a situation that occurred 30 days ago in the Zila Panchayat of Bidar. At the MGNREGA workstation in Bidar, Mr. Baswnappa, the Zila Panchayat Patil, and the District Social Audit Coordinator allegedly intercepted and destroyed a crucial document. This action has had serious repercussions, as it has led to a delay in my salary for the past 23 months.
My employment status is now precarious, and the situation is grave. I earnestly request your intervention to resolve this matter promptly. The reinstatement of my job and the release of my pending salary for the last 23 months are of utmost importance to me.
Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter. I hope for a swift resolution, and I appreciate your assistance in rectifying this situation.
Yours faithfully,

Dear Bhalke ji,
I am extremely sorry for failing to understand your posts due to their language. Please answer the following questions with the assistance of someone who can effectively communicate in English:
(1) What are the salient features of the Scheme?
(2) Is it a Central Government program implemented through the State?
(3) What is the nature of your appointment - honorary or part-time/full-time on a fees or salary basis?
(4) Are there any written orders of suspension?
Thank you.

I am Vidyasagar Bhalke, an employee of MGNREGA, serving as the social audit coordinator of Taluka Panchayat in Humnabad District, Bidar. I am reaching out regarding my 23-month salary and job requisition, as I have yet to receive any response to my requests. I have previously sent a letter addressing allegations of corruption and fund misappropriation to the Chief Minister of Karnataka and Mr. M. Moudgil, the MGNREGA Director in Bidar Zila Panchayat. Despite the department initiating an inquiry into the allegations, my salary and job requisition have not been addressed. I had emphasized in my reference letter to the Zila Panchayat that my salary and job requisition be considered, as communicated to the Chief Minister and Mr. M. Moudgil.
However, the Zila Panchayat Bidar MGNREGA section workers, Chitralekha Patil, Baswnappa Patil, and Mr. Devadas, the district social audit coordinator, seem to have misplaced this reference letter without the knowledge of the Chief Secretary of Zila Panchayat Bidar. The MGNREGA Ombudsman of Zila Panchayat Bidar has sent a notice to my home address to attend a meeting on February 15, 2014, at the Taluka office for a discussion on the misuse of funds documented in the MIS report related to all 33 Gram Panchayats.
I have been working without salary for 23 months, and my situation is critical. I urgently request the sanctioning of my salary and job requisition, as I have diligently fulfilled my duties without error.
Thank you for your attention to this matter.
