Dear Sharmi,
You are welcome. "Often in many cases HR has to be impeccable". Why don't you think the same to me(a techie, a Non-HR employee)? Yeah, HR is a conductor. I am asking them a piece of information. They can at least respond something.
And your wavelength is quite wrong, I am in well tuned frequency with my technical team. I like my job. I am not in a mind to quit.
Sorry to say this, but I am frustrated with the HR activities.

Hi,
This depends & varies from company to company. If your confirmation of service is related to your appraisal then it might take time. But for sure, they might pay the arrears as well.
You've not mentioned what is the ideal policy of confirmation in your company. I guess, all the answers were on the basis of assumption.

Hi Mehta,
Since you asked, I am telling this. I was given offer with 1 year probation period and It was clearly mentioned that after one year I will get confirmation and relevant hike. But this is 8th month post to my probation (i.e. hardly 20 months in a same position without appreciation).
Please let me clear, if there is anything to be argued with my HR management. I sent them lots of mail requesting my status in the process. But they are not tend to give a single response.
Thanks

Then, it is time to confront them directly. You can take an appointment and speak with them across the table if you are not receiving reply over the mail. Keep you manager in loop. Ask him to join the meeting so that you have a better clarity over who is who.

Hi buddies, Today I got the appraisal letter. But my patience doesn’t worth enough for the offer. I am really impressed of Management as well as HR dept ..! Huh..
