hi,
I have started working in Education sector and I am required to form policies in HR, there is no system as such and I have to do every thing from the scratch. Can any body provide me with the basics of different HR policies so that I can form the Policies for my organization after understanding the basics.
I will develop all the policies e.g. Leave policy, HR Manual, Appraisal, Forming Job Description.
Thanks

As I said in my post above, there is a ton of stuff on HR policies here on CiteHR already. Use the reSearch box at the top of every page.
There is also a link in my post.
When you come to a thread like this, PLEASE read through the thread first and see what everyone else has said, before you ask a question. The answer you require may already be there.

Mr. Mahendra,
Before joining this company, you should have thought about it ! If you keep hopping jobs, you will never learn anything from any organisation. Each organisation will have its own pluse and minus factors. Whatever is available, stay there for an year or two, learn and then move on. When another HR person looks at your profile and observe that you have been rolling like a stone in a river, they will hesitate to take you on board.
So stay in each oranisation atleast for 2/3 years before considering moving on to a new more challenging assignment.
Best wishes
