Subject: Pension and GPF Query of Central Govt. System
I started my job in 1997 at a Grants-in-Aid Autonomous Organisation (A) under the Ministry of Agriculture. This organization operates under the rules and regulations of the Central Govt. After 9 years, in 2007, I left the organization (with permission and through proper channels from organization A) and joined another Autonomous Organisation (B) under the Ministry of HRD.
My total benefits of Pension, Gratuity, and GPF amount are pending with (A). I have requested many times (since 2007 in writing as well as verbally to organization A) to forward my service records and financial benefits to organization (B). However, they have neither sent any queries/remarks related to me nor my service records/financial benefits to organization (B).
Now, after a lapse of 3+ years, an Officer from organization A sent a letter to me with a remark that:
"No GPF interest will be paid, please send a request for final GPF withdrawal."
My queries are:
1. Can I receive pension as I left organization (A) with permission and through the proper channel? Both organizations A and B are regulated by the Central Govt. system and are pensionable.
2. How can I claim the GPF interest for the period (around 3+ years) from organization (A), as my total GPF amount is with them to date?
Kindly provide the rules and regulation helpline so that I can access the above benefits.
Thank you and regards,
Vijay
