Suo moto change to be effected by any employer in the salary of his employees, whether structurally or otherwise in violation of such terms of the contact of employment will not be legally and morally correct. The legal repurcussions of such changes on the salary as agreed earlier depend upon the class of the employees likely to be affected. The constitution of the establishment, in my opinion, is immaterial in this matter of unilateral change or modification of the terms of contract of employment to the disadvantage of the employees.
