Its very difficult to control desires, Only way to reduce it but cutting its fuel(first cut the fuel line the flame would go off by itself)

Yes I am talking about the mass Hypnotizer who is in corner of everyone's House, This is what driving Indian youth in wrong direction, this had Killed the youth of West(America has realized it) and now this virus is spreading in India at a very fast pace.

Prime minister of this country should ban all these Western Media who create unwanted fantasies in Indian youth which is driving them in wrong direction.

Media is the weapon of Mass Deception, They make you believe what they want us to believe, when the mind is filled with desires his thinking power would be lost, An angry person would go to an extend of killing another person and later would keep regretting in Jail for what he did.

Forget youth even the parents are behind material growth they never teach the importance of Inner growth to their children, Uncontrolled mind is one's worst enemy, that's why Spiritual education is very Important to every human.

We need a Guru like Baba Ramdev who can cleanse our Inner space, which would automatically cleanse the outer world.

Baba Ramdev announced that he plans to enter politics before the 2014 General Elections with an aim to strengthen the roots of Parliamentary democracy and clean up the political system, he would field candidates in all the 543 Lok Sabha seats(which has never happened in India History).

He has come to throw the British policies out of this country(which was virtually ruling this country) and restore Spiritual and Moral values of this country.

Youth of India!! i will not agree with the argument/ ppt; not every youth of INDIA is like dat...... so many are struggling Hard for their goals.......there might me some percentage will be there in every country..... and ours is a nation with the best traditions & culture which we are following from thousands of years..... as like a coin ( both heads and tails will be there ) People will be there where they live according to their environment. and more over instead of saying we dont have good leaders; good politicians etc., why dont one try to be a good citizen... try to be a good citizen of india and probability of following you by others will be more....
instead of criticizing others if we can do some thing good to the society and live like a MODEL to others it wil help us to achieve our Vision

Yes, the focus should be on the positive tendencies of the young. There was no time in history or in modern times that these kind of cultural, political, social and religious onslaughts were/are not there. The solution is not to harp on the negativities but to put emphasis on the positives. Majority young people in India are still God loving, respectful and law abiding. Our work should be to inspire them to take up challenges in life. Life has both possibilities - right or wrong. Urge them to take the right path. Eventually they will all find the right way and make India proud.

Dear Rao,

Better discard this presentation, as you would be presenting just the gloomy side of the youth. As against your views in your last post, it is not the majority of such youth, rather it is a very small proportion of the total youth population of India, if you try to make a real survey. So, don't try to put just dark side of that very small part of the youth to fill their minds with negativism.

You are going to address the budding managers where you need to make their career somewhat aspiring, but You would be going to label those aspiring managers as loafers, and unruly vandals only. I am sure the management students would not relish your speech and might walk out rather than listening your speech.

Better try to convince them to make their profession duly linked with visionary leadership, innovation and idealism. Try to make the occasion as a memorable function rather than a bitter pill for them.

The present day youth are better than those of our generation . They are clear in what they want and prepare to work for the same.
In a tropical country with multi-lingual population of more than 100 crore, some aberrations - in elders' view - like chilling out are bound to occur.
T N Seshan, ex- CEC of India used to say in meetings that our generation has let down the country.
The youth are making waves. How much they sweat and toil to increase the share of services sector contribution to India's GDP.
They are our nation's pride - we should nurture them and wean them away if they really go wrong

Hello friends,

Thanks for your excellent interaction and continued debate.

There are some who received a wrong signal in my posting. I never said that the total youth is getting degenerated. As said by somebody, the present generation is definitely better than the past. But let me ask this. In a class of 60, how many toppers are there? In a 300 students of final years in B Tech or B school, how many are getting jobs in top companies? I find many national survey numbers stating employability skills are as low as 15 - 20%. What does it mean?

Do you think this generation nurtures good value system? For them, those values are changing and they feel they need to be redefined. I don't agree fully, but may be here and there you need to redefine in accordance with the changing societies. But overall, respecting elders, parents, gurus (teachers and faculties), speaking truth, taking care of parents at their old age etc, these things don't change. But the outlook is getting changed in the present generation which doesn't appear to be good.

Pained by this I resorted to address these issues to the college students. They received this very keenly. The presentation was not a criticism, rather it became an eye-opener. I received excellent attention and interest.

I purposefully omitted second half of the presentation, only to ignite a discussion and receive public opinion and debate.

Thanks to all of you for your excellent feedback.

Dear Mr. KS Rao,
You are right. But before directing youth, directing parents is very important and necessary. I feel that most of parents expect more than their children have. In this regards if you have some ideas for youth, I will be happy to work with you for Pune area.
I am having one aptitude test which is showing student's strengths and weaknesses.

Dear Madhuri,
You are also right. Parents have a glorious past. Children have a golden future. Parents, reeling under past do not tend to look into the future. But children, not bothering about the past, should drive into the future. This is exactly is the reason why there is a generation gap. Yah, this needs to be addressed as well. Thanks for the suggestion.

Dear Rao,
It is great if you have received excellent attention and interest of the students of the B School. But if you purposely omitted half of your presentation from the HR community that was an act of dishonesty on your part to get partial views of the community, just to call for criticism only. You could have provided the full presentation to judge pros & cons of the and to give honest critical views by the community on your actual presentation. Asking for the views on half of your presentation was not justified at all on your part.

Your example of many students (out of a class of 60) not becoming toppers does no indicate that all those students not becoming toppers are spoiled or incapable. You had talked about the youth of India as a whole, and not of a particular section of youth out of the students. If you selected an exhaustive topic you were supposed to talk on the wide side of the topic and not to compare just a very small section of a single class of 60 students. Had you elected the students of at least 10 good, average and bad B schools of different parts of India to compare or make survey, your example could well fit here.

For example, if an HR Manager of one office is bad that does not mean that all the HR Managers in India or the world would be bad.

Anyway, I still differ with your views, as the part of your presentation showed sheer negativism and nothing else, where you preferred to hid the other part of your presentation from the community.
Positive or negative in nature of that part only you may be knowing.

You may however be knowing that in any institution, there is a system of feedback also to the lectures of the guest faculty. I would like to request you to know about that feedback given by of the students of the B school before taking as granted that excellent attention and interest to have been shown by the students on the presentation.
