Dear Sandya,
Don't be upset in any case when you are dealing with people. Maybe they are not perceiving you positively, leading to difficulties. Most technical people have a different attitude than others, so try to connect with them to understand them better. I am sure that one day they will become your friends. It's just a matter of time before they appreciate your patience and diligence. Be gentle and polite when addressing any issues.
Just win their hearts, and they will soon speak positively about you.
Best of luck,

Hi Sandhya,
Diverse personalities are an asset to the work environment. We have to be clear on a few basics, irrespective of their "mentalities" (as you term them):
1. Ethics in our practice
2. Respect for each other
3. Language manners
Formulate a code of ethics for your 60-member team. Discuss together and develop it. Just four guidelines, not another book for them to read.
Finally, don't expect them to be like you. For you do not know what you are like.
Best wishes,

Dear Sandya,
Greetings!
Experience will be a teacher for you. Don't argue or be aggressive with troublesome people. It will only make matters worse for you. Don't try to change such people because they never like to change. In the process, you will only tire yourself. If you can, try to ignore them instead. It is one of the best ways of dealing with them.
If things worsen, approach your boss and let him/her know the problem you are facing. However, keep this option as the last resort.
