Hi,
First let her tell you that she is going to resign then you take appropriate steps , we shouldn't take any decision without her relieving letter,however you try to interview some other resources, nowdays peoples are there for better salary and good knowledge , if she leave that's her wish we couldn't force her, anyways retain here if she won't work out then look for replacement.That's the better solution.
and remember don't discuss with her about reliving, If she took off call her and ask the reason , if she didn't respond to you then give her termination letter with notice period.

Hi Namita,
Instead of writing mail to her and she is not giving the acknowedge too its better to talk to her over phone or go to the office talk to her directly.
She cnt refuse yr request to issue u the form 16.
One morething which i would like to tell you if u write any mail to the employee of the organisation always mark a CC to his/her superior too for their information.
In case if your matter will not sorted out talk to her senior reg your problems and all in a very polite manner.

Dear Akshu,
So many times it has happened in our organization. But last minute, the employee had changed the decision to continue in our organization.
Don't depend on the rumours. Employees (not all the employees, but some) are tend to spread the rumours. If that is the case, that employee has to take decision and she will definitely put papers. After submitting the resignation letter , you are not supposed to hold all the related relieving documents, if she serves the notice period. But that does mean that you should leave that employee whenever she goes on leave without prior intimation. You or concerned head should make aware that with proper intimation only, she has to go on leave.
Also, try to find indirectly whether that employee has any other personal problems and because of that she is going on leave.

Thank you all for your precious advice. but yesterday when we tried to talk to her she behaved in a very abnormal or kiddish way, we tried to calm her but she shouted on her senior like anything n then she said she cant work n she is gng. she left the premises there n then only n today as well she didnt turn up.

I have faced this before. If u hold a handful of mud so tight in ur hand...there would be very less mud in ur hand.
If u losely hold it... it will remain there.
Same way - just leave it for a while. See if she responds and then take it from there. She has to get back. Agn switch to mode one and ask her the real issue. If she does not turn up - just make sure this behavior has not been spread among others. Continuously interact with ur employees and let them know how their presence is very impt at work.
Its not just work pressure...even pressure in personal life can make a person act wierd.

you need to analyse the circumstances and factors which have made her become recalcitrant so that in future you can prevent many such cases of similar type.
