Dear Priya,
1. Since there is no documentation on HR department requesting you to resign and subsequent incident. This will not have any legal suppot.
2. You can approach ,
a. Approach HR head and explain the situation and ask him to settle ethically.
If it is not so..
Please discuss with Director or Sr. Staff in that company ( to whom HR head is reporting ) and explain about the way this has been handled.
3. If this is not happening. Please send repeated mails to head HR, C.C. to director. If no improvement mark copy to MD etc.
If no improvement on this issue. ( just communicate them that, this mail history will be forwarded to all the employees.
NOTE: Legally, your case will have any hold.
Priya. You can contact me on 9880731833 for some other solution which will definitely will give you the result.

Dear all,
VP of HR as well knows about this incident and ensured that i get my full salary for the month of June along with all the benefits. VP is aware of all those happenings and VP was the person who promised my promotion in cognizance to my performance which had been clearly proved and evident in the performance appraisal.I was eligible for promotion according to my appraisal and my reporting manager had approved it and everyone knows that.
The Director was a bit tensed that i could take up this issue to the Senior VP and made VP to accept his decision and i could not move further since my papers would have been stopped if i had done that. (this had been informed by my reporting manager)
My offer letter lets me know that i my available Leave Balance would be encashed as i leave the company.
The only reason that made them turn against me is i am upright and had the guts to rise up issues and give good suggestions.
Regards,
Priya.
