I think, your main problem is lack of communication skill. I like to quote few lines from your question
an worker
an graduate
1-will this job will give me an successful career.
Look like you failed to convince your employer / boss that you are capable of handling the job in line with your qualification & experience.
Have patience & prove yourself as an efficient candidate, rather than getting arrogant.
with best wishes,

Hello friends that share the same drama. I see that this not only happens here in Brazil, I graduated in mechanical engineering, Technical University in Mecantronica, knowledge on processes and machining I\'ve bussniss maintenance mechanic and have great s experience in maintenance, today I work in a sugar and alcohol plant, as an aid for planning and Control of Maintenance, just hire a maintenance analyst for my cetor the guy does not know anything about maintenance but how came from another company has more value than the full-time staff that already rabalham in the company is as we say here in Brazil santo home does not make miracles, in these cases the best that we have to do is find another company that sertamente dara more value in our knowledge than some developer who already works!!

When a person looking for a job, the first important thing for him to know what are his qualities, professional degree, work experience etc. and based on that he need to select a particular field/industry to get job by applying over their after going through the job description, responsibilities, jog profile etc. but here as you mentioned you are a Mechanical engineering graduate, still it looks you didn't followed the things mentioned above and joined a company as a worker level.
However, its good you have now realized your skills and qualities so be confident and discuss with HR regarding and inf they agree to offer you a suitable profile then good otherwise you can look for some other job that suits you.

Good morning Mohd,
I agree with the statements of fellow members regarding your situation. You have to go back to when you started for your company now. What position did you apply for? Did you choose your current work because at the time you applied there is no position suitable for you but you got it out of desperation? Anyway, we need to know more so that your predicament is answered. To be a true Engineer and be recognized for such, you either have to ask HR if there is an opening for your position. Otherwise, you'll have to stay there. Or decide to resign but before doing that find in the ads if there is a vacancy for what you're looking for so when you resign you have a work to transfer to immediately.
Good luck!

Dear,
Do not worry about your status and your position, you have very good academic qualification and experience from basic production level. Don't go to the negative and try to learn from this situation, everyone have to pass from this type of situation. As per my suggestion firstly you should discuss with your reporting head and hr person than told them clear your job description. after that you can show them you are not depend on them and you have other opportunities.
Thanks and Best Regards
