Id cards will have one major benefit apart from the benfits mentioned by Mahavir Singh that is you will be complying with the requirement of the law.
Labour law i.e. factories act, shops and establishment act, contract labour act and even standing orders require an employer to issue Identity cards to its employees. So the biggest benefit to the organisation by issuing ID card will be that the organistion will be following the statue.

We do have our marketing team but they don't go any where for business purpose.
We do business through internet globally.
I am in favor of issuing employee id and card but management is not till now...............
