Hi,
Yes, I am not completely uneducated :icon4: I have a degree in computer applications and a diploma in design and have extensively studied advertising [wanted to be in advertising some time back].
And no, I didn't think HR was tough... extensive... yes... but not tough. Just haven't found the time to plan higher studies. But I am interested in psychology and may start studying that [Not sure though.. I am unbelievably fickle when it comes to choosing but usually work hard to get it done once I've decided].
Yeah! shocking isn't it! :icon5: :icon1:
Thanks once again.:icon1:

Okay, but only if you promise this to be your final question in this topic [i.e discussing me... I hate that... actually I don't enjoy any discussion when its centered on a person rather than an idea]. :icon1:

So to answer your question I'll use what most MBA's do... give you points.

1) I don't like crowds. I am a very private person and do not enjoy mingling in crowds of people. This was also the reason why had very low attendance during my senior years in school.

2) Educational institutes don't always need to be a college or an institute building. You can learn anywhere and from anyone. I prefer studying by myself and do not enjoy studying under guidance. I know it’s a weakness but I am open to online studying or correspondence courses.

3) I have never come across someone who had the will/capacity to be my mentor. I know its unfortunate but everyone is not destined to have a master. Many a times I have exceeded my professors and have walked out of classes after strong confrontations with them [not boasting.. actually I am ashamed I did that] but that's how it happened to me. Its been 24 years but hopefuly sometime ahead in my life I will come across someone who will be a guide in my life.

4) I am often lazy and like to do my work at my own pace and its often very difficult to make me budge from this habit. This primarily [I think] is because of the environment I have grown up in. I come from a zamindar family and I think I have inherited some of that arrogance and stubbornness from that bloodline.

All these factors combined keep me away from educational institutes but not from education itself.

I hope I have answered your question. :icon1:

My girl friend is a lawyer so I have gone through this a million times through the past three years. I'm used to this now! :icon10:
This is what I have told her a few times:
We must follow etiquette... ask if you can ask a question before you ask something... like the flow of conversation should be:
Her: Can I ask you a question?
Me: No.
Her: Okay [usually means you'll pay for this later]
But it never works.
Anyways, Lets leave it at this now . Thanks for your comments. :icon1:
