Is there a way to obtain a document from Infosys regarding the months I have taken on extended long leave without payment? Perhaps a document that specifies my total work experience excluding the leave taken under Loss of Pay (LOP)? Can anyone provide me with such a document in a legally acceptable manner?

Your query is not clear. Still, I would say, I'm not sure about Infosys, but some employers, not all, can issue a letter stating "he is employed or working in this company since..." It's legal. Such letters are being issued when an employee has to submit to secure a loan from banks for house construction, purchase of vehicles, higher studies, obtaining a passport, police verification certificate, etc.
