Hi Ritu,
Welcome to the family.
Well as far as your project is concerned, u can also do a project in order to study the employee dissatisfaction at ONGC Ahmedabad. You can prepare a questionnare based work-culture, working environment, compensation, relationship with seniors/colleagues/subordinates, discipline, their willingness to continue with organisation,if not then the cause for doing so, and many more. You can make some questions open ended & some close. Also u can put gradings like very good, good, satisfactory, bad etc. After doing the sample survey u can point out wat is the most demotivationg factors & gradually move down the ladder. You can put some practical suggestions at the end. This project will help u in interacting with different levels of people across the hierarchy, which I feel is the most important work of a HR person, as unless u reach your people u can't know their problems and work on them to make them feel comfortable.
Hope it will give u a small help.

when i was doing my MBA, one of my classmates was doing her summer training in ONGC though not at Ahmedabad, her topic was ..."Role of HR in Six Sigma", where she had to evaluate the responsibilities of HR in each and every process of the organization where six sigma was implemented....
