Dear Avantika,
Sorry to hear about the sad demise of your husband.
You are entitled for following from EPF:
1. EPF accumulation.
2. Pension for you & your child.
3. EDLI: Employee deposit linked insurance.
There are prescribed forms for this, a search of this site will give you details of these & the documents required to be submitted along with the forms. You can get these forms from any EPF office along with an instruction sheet for filling up the forms. But after filling up the forms these have to be routed through your employer. The employer should definitely help you.
You will also get gratuity from the employer.

Ms.Avantika,
Please correct me FEW DOUBTS if wrong:
1) If final report is police report, signed by SUPTD. OF POLICE UNDER WHOSE JURISDICTION DEATH OCCURRED.
2) Was your husband on duty when died or what was he doing that time? His duty time from ---- to---- and date?
3) Company's name and address . Also if easily available then HR manager's name and contact nos.please.
4) Ask your brother, to get Accident report which is filed by company before Factory Inspector. If he died at factory site, then company must have submitted in writing information to Collector, SP, Police station also and copy of letter and accident report can be traced also.
