Hi,jagvimdhir
This is excellent ppt but at one point I can't understand that contract employees earn 30% more than the permanent?.. before that slide you have mentioned that by recruiting employees on contract basis, company can cut the costs...how this is possible?.. Reply

I agree with you Prashant... There is a no set rule that a contractor will get 30% extra...
I appriciate the work done on preparing the PPT.
However, US recruitment is a big ocean and this is just a tip of it.
Like nothing has been spoken about the time zones, Various types of Taxes, Corp-corp, Employee benefits ect...
once again... Great job done on presentation... but its tip of an ice berg...

Hi Prashant,
Imagine the rate that a contractor makes out on a daily basis and the amount a employee makes out an monthly basis?Further to add on to this, the contractor is entitled to the same benefits as that of an fulltime employee. On a long term basis, the candidate who is contracting makes more than a fulltime employee.

Company need to provide training & development to its permanent employee ,whereas no need to spend on contractor in this context, same they are being contracted for a certain period or for a specific project hence company can pay them for their work, whereas permanent employee will get his fixed salary even if there is very few project to work upon.
I think thats why company prefer to contract to save their cost.
