Hi Ravi, In the profile they might say that it's an HR job. also make sure that they are mentioning this in their offer or appointment letter. because in BPO like any other process they might have a process for HR and usually u 'll have to attend call or make calls u might work as a HR professional but on paper it's usually customer representative. so please clear this point with them.

Hi mshr, IF any opening for BPO and these type of jobs comes , i know that it is nothing more than an CCE,, so i just tell them ok ok,,, and we will see etc,, and when they call for interview, i demand travelling reimbursement ,that is the point where they back off... 8)

Hi Friends, As long as my knowledge is concerned Day Shift is better, however Night Shift is also okay. Previously I worked in the night shift for quite a some time then I really enjoyed the enviorment which I worked because the employees in the org were of same age group and we all loved working together and in the week ends we together used to go out and enjoy. Even work wise I have learned a lot of things when I was working their. Basically I got the exposure towards the US market I say that was the biggest strength which I got from there. When it comes to sleep and diet my friends have faced some problems because of lack of time mgt however I used to take proper sleep and diet so I didn't face much problems. Now I am working in the day time, I am enjoying even better than the previous org. I would say that all depends upon how you go about the things and how u move in the enviorment. Day time is prefereable since we have habituate that right from our childhood. Let me know if you need any clarifications. Regards, Kalyan. :D

Its not bad for HR to work in shifts but the work profile and company should be good. As its really hard to get Core HR jobs in corporate so you should continue to work in nght shift if the work profile is good gain experience and then look for a job change. Regards, Ajitha

Hey guys DON EVER GO IN NIGHT SHIFTS!!!! Thinking that u ll have somethng gud to start wid. No doubt working in international requirements in gud company ll give u some gud corporate exposure nd gud money too, but the repercussions wud b more disastrous that one can imagine. Even i had been thru the same exp and i know wat it takes to get into a Generic HR profile after working in International Recruitment. You wont b able to match up urself wid the salary standards in generic HR Role as compared to wat u r gettng in Int Recruitments, and wud b tough for u to cum down in terms of monetary aspects. Secondly u ll take a toll on ur body whiule exerting such pressures. So i wud suggest nybdy who is planng to go 4 international recruitments to wait for sometime u ll surely get somethng clicking ur way. Cheers Tushar :)

Hello All, Being into the HR profession for the last 3 years I have something to say. I work for a very famous BPO organisation. As you all know an American BPO organisation functions totally in the night. Being in the generalist HR Profile, it is very important to work in the night shifts. The population in the BPO industry consists of employees of an average age of 25-30 years. Dealing with their day to day office issues, personal issues affecting office, clarifying doubts on the CTC,Growth related/career related counselling etc is one of our major responsibilities. Imagine we working in the day and all the rest working in the night. It makes no sense of HR working in the the day and the rest of the organisation working in the night. There is no connection between the various departments, no bond nothing. Hence, if your body type suits, night shift is not that bad. If we manage our rest, food habits anf sleep well, night shift is absolutely not a challenge. Agree it would not be good on the long run.. So Cheers to all my colleagues and those HR professionals working in night shifts :icon1:
