Hi,

Your question is if staff strengh is 14 whether you are required to get registration under PF Act. You have also informed that your company is going to do business with an Agency.

As far as your company is concerned you need not require to take PF Registration under PF Act since the total strength is less than 20.

Now let me deal with your second point. It is clearly stated by you that you are going deal with an an Agency business. In that case, you will be appointed by the principal company to work on his behalf dealing with Agency business.

If the principal company is covered and got registration under the PF Act, they will insist you to obtain PF registration for your company. In this,I wish to add further that the PF registration can be taken VOLUNTARILY by your company even if number of staff strength of your company is less than 20.

In stead of taking PF registration, if principal company is agreed to deposit PF contribution on account of your staff members, then it will be in order. The amount of PF contribution so deposited by the principal company will be deducted from your bill. This may please be noted.

Now everything is depenent upon the decision of the principal company.

Dear Friends
There may not be much Increase in contribution limit beyond 6500/-. It will have lot of burden on some Employers from 5 Lacs to 50lacs per annum
Outsourced employees with low salary, the take home will be lesser. It will lead to a very unacceptable situation. I hope the PF authorities understand this. If you are looking for Services please contact us -
