Hi Sushma
I think first of all u should do some ice-breaking exercise with them. In the Ice-Breaking session, you can ask them to do some pairing or group activities. Try to be innovative when doing ice-breking sesion and note down the points where u will focus the next time.
all the best

if ur not a trainer, first learn basics on how to deliver an effective training. As a trainer everyday when u go to office, all employees must respect u and recoganize that you have come for their good, else it is difficult.
Then only your training would be effective.

hi,
Training is an interesting word, only those who are ready to learn and look for more opportunity cherish that word, first make an attempt to understand those people, ask them to speak a lot and do a lot, then make them feel that they need to get organized, it is easy for you if they know that they want certain things.
Best of Luck

Dear Sender
Being your organisation is new one and the participants are unorganised, please design your training programme in such a way to make the participants aware for what they are gathered.
You are aware that no one can motivate others and hence plan your training programme effectively before conducting the training programme With regards

Dear Ms Sushma Rawat,

I am Bangalore-based freelance corporate trainer and give HR consulting services as well.

If the employees are disorganised then training possibly may not help at this stage. We train our staff for developing skill and knowledge. No training programme can make employees organised.

Does your company has mission and vision statement. If not then please tell your management to make it first. Thereafter, you need to make department-wise mission statement.

Secondly, you need to develop process manual for each department. Once you make a process manual it will become easy for you to measure process variation. Is it due to human failure? If yes then train the staff to meet the process standards. If it was a process failure, then change the process.

Thirdly, you need to set KRAs for each department and give responsibility to each HOD to attain the KRAs. A focused approach will eliminate the unwanted activities.

You can contact me on my e-mail ID din2704rediffmail.com or on my mobile for further queries, if any.
