Hi,

For HR records u need to maintain a MIS with all the details of the employees

List of Photo Copies to be maintained by the HR dept about the Employees are:

1. Photo Copies of the educational Certificates

2. Photo Copies of Exp and Relieving letters of the previous employment of the Employees(Must and Should)

3. Any otherCertifications the employee has.

Incuding these, the HR dept should mainatain an Excel sheet with the detials of the employees for easy retrieval of data when ever needed....

Details to be maintained in the excel sheet are:

1. Employee Code

2. Name of the Employee(Full Name)

3. Date of Joining.

4. Experience

5. Designation

6. Department

7. CTC per Annum

8. Probationary Period

9. Notice Period

10.Present Address

11. Permanant Address

12. Mobile Number

13. Residence Number

14. Emergency Contact Number

15. Official Mail ID

16. Personal Mail ID

17. PF Number Allotted

Dear Ms Srilakshmi Rao,
I am Bangalore-based freelance corporate trainer and give HR consulting services as well. I have helped few companies in setting up their complete HR Department. I will very well set up the HR Department for you as well.
While setting up the HR Department, we need to look beyond mere statutory aspects. HR is much more than statutory compliance.
For my consulting services, I have devised a checklist method. Level I is Functions of Personnel Department. Level II is Functions of HR Department and Level III is Advance functions of HR Department.
This step by step approach always helps in attaining certain stage, stabilise at that stage and move upward.
Of late, HR Managers are caught in HR jargon. This step by step approach always gives importance to the basics first.
You can contact me on my e-mail ID din2704rediffmail.com
or on my mobile .
Thanks,
