concentrate ur post graduation syllabus, specially 1 & 2 nd sem Papers, UGC also given NET syllabus but pls along with that u read more on ur postgraduate syllabus along with good research methodology books, NET is very easy exam, they asses only ur ABCD knowledge of ur post graduation course,

suggestion books are only the post grad books , nothing else, for teaching and research paper , u may use any books from a local shop, but for the main paper , there is no such reference books, only post grad knowledge will help u...me too applying this summer..am following only wot i have studied this 4 semesters..nothing else..

Dear Friends,
UGC-NET subject code 55 is not that easy to crack, we can easily clear paper 1 and 2 even without any preparations, but paper 3 need in depth knowledge of every aspect included in syllabus. for general category to clear this subject code is really difficult task.
But now this time 3rd paper is also objective, so i think its good for us to clear, bcoz earlier written exam was checked manually and probability of error use to be there, but now its objective and result will be accurate.
They ask for trade unions impact, scope in india, conflict management etc.
In short time go through last 5 years question paper of net u will get the idea and simultaneously u can prepare.
Best of luck to all including me for june 2012 exam.
