Dear Kyat,

Withdrawal of the PF is no more a constraint, since most of the PF office has started to update the status of the forms received from employers and settle the amount within 45days of receipt. Pls check the respective EPFO website.

Some cases the employer is not aware of the process involved in getting the amount for their ex-employees, since employees leave the organisation and join a new company they are not showing much interest in processing the forms. I had given the reasons which i came across in PF withdrawal.

Employer sent the form without Form 3A

Mistake in the Form 3A calculation.

Changes in LWD because of Notice period.

Overwriting in the forms (PF office will not accept more than 2 overwriting)

Bank Statement required for MICR No./bank authentication.

Form 10C submitted for less than 6 months exp. employees etc.

If all the procedures are followed, I dont see the PF office will hold money for any reasons. In that case you can invoke RTI Act on EPFO.

Hi KIayat,
I am dealing with PF work since last so many years.
So far the withdrawl of the PF/EPS concern one has to take little care at the time of filling forms such as....
1 Pl furnish the correct information in Form Nom 19 & Form 10C or FOrm 20 or Form 5 IF etc...
2 Fill Form no 5 & Form 10 which is in built in withdrawl form
3 Contribution card in Form No 3A for last two years
4 Forms must be signed by the authorised officials as per specimen signature sent to PF Office
5 Bank information ... S.B.A/C no, Bank name, Branch and full address of branch
6 If claimant is married Female pl submitt form no 5 for earlier name and after marraige name.
I hope then there will be reason to keep the claim pending by the authorities.

hi Chaitali this is wat Suresh Sir has to say
It makes no difference since the employer is registered with Maharastra and the PF forms are processed in Maharastra for the employees in Gujarat or other states. The location of the employee is immaterial if the PF forms are processed in a location where the company is registered.

Hi ,
One main reason for delay in PF Withdrwal is Forms not filled correctly, like Date of Joining , Date Of leaving, Date of Birth, signatures missing
Other main reason is incomplete bank address.
if these coloumns r taken care of , there will be no undue dealy.

Hi Everyone,
I have filled the Form 13 for PF Transfer. As my current company requested other Forms including Form 3A, i obtained them from previous employer.
But when i verified the Form 3A, my father's name was mentioned wrongly but all other details are correct.
I heard that PF office will looks whether all details like Name, Fathers Name, EPF NO. Amount contributed, Signature etc.. would be verified. Will it get transfer with the wrong Form 3A if i proceed.
Can someone help me. I would like to know from someone who faced a similar problem.
Any clarification or reply is really appreciated
