I am supposed to make a HR annual plan (Not HR manual) for a reputed manufacturing company of India. It should contain what different activities HR dept should do in a year. It should have different things like timelines and how different activies is going to be carried out.
If anybody has any template regarding this or know any site or link then reply to this post or mail me at .

Thanks for sharing a good HR planner. Suggest to Club the events under different areas , such as Strategic , Statutory and operational . You can drill that down to Annual , monthly and weekly events eg :
HR Strategic event > Leadership Development >Training program by Internal / External Partner >Duration 2 days class room training in the month of May 10 - evaluation Dec
HR Strategic event > Implementation of 5S > Training program for the core implementation group by Internal / External Partner - June last week> Implementation - 1st, 2nd & 3rd Phase in July -1st week>Implementation - 4th & 5th Phase in July -2nd week > Audit - August 1st week
HR Statutory event > Audit of policies as per Shops and establishment acts - October 1st week
HR Operational event > Perfomance Appraisal > Dec 1st Week ensure submission of comments online > Dec 2nd Week - collation of data begin .......
I am sure you can make your HR Planner a lot more scientific than this. Just make it practicle by keeping all the bottlenecks in your process in mind. There would many glitches before you can have all your leaders attend the leadership development pragram training . Hence from May it may shift to August . So do keep some flexiblity in your planner .
Infact a planner is often tied to budget planning , so thats another factor that could be affecting your planner.
