Since you are from HR background, if you do the relevant degree in mphil, it will add a merit to you. Just go throught the University websites and find the suitable one. But my question is why don't you do the Phd directly?

It would be better if you could have a check on to your interest and preference rather than asking for an idea. As you have been into Management specialization. It would be better if you could take up some thing in commerce or some thing related to your past specialization.

Even i am in the same dilemma, I have done MBA Hr through Distance madurai Kamraj university having 3 yrs exp in the role of zprofile of Generalist... And staying in mumbai ...Please, this solution will decide my line of study....How will do Phd in the same area..And then plese help with the more information since my try of finding failed for aroiiund 1 yr..

Hi.. I am also in same profile, completed my MBA(HR) , currently pursuing my M.phil(Mgmt) in PRIST university(IGNOO), After several search i found they only offer M.Phil in Mgmt(HR) which is a 1 year program.

I think M.Phil & Phd through distance mode is not possible now according to the circular from UGC. Regards Ramakrishna
