Hi,
Usual structure for all companies,it is 12 days CL,12 days PL and 12 SL.
this SL is applicable for non COVERAGE of ESI employee, overall it is left upto management discretion in fixing leave policy.

Firstly one must understand that the IT industry falls under shops and establishment act ,such being the case the leaves specified under the act has to be extended otherwise it will be treated as non compliance.
In case the company provides more leaves over and above specied under the act it is OK.
The details pertaining to calculation and credit are mentioned under the rules.
refer the shops and establishment act of your state if your company is in INDIA

Hi..can you tell me if the Shops and Establishment act is applicable on leaves provided to Indian employees in case the company is based out of India butthere few offices are in India?
From India, New Delhi
Hi,
As stated by Mr.Patrudu, you should refer to the Shops And Establishments Act as applicable to your state.
Provision therein should be complied with. Encashment, carrying forward and such policies should be decided within the framework of this Act.
