dear seniors i have a major problem accuring with me i just switched to a new company wich has a total chaos this group is formed by several contracting companies im not able to find time to prepare an h.r. chart in purpose to create a centralised department formed by the following 4 divisions
1- immigration and r.p. division
2- accomodation and transportation division(for labour camps and staff housing)
3- personnel division(will take care of daily pesonnel probs)
4-recruting and evaluation division
i have arroundf 1400 labours and 100 staff\can u give me the sbest structure and the number of staff needed plus a detailed job description for every division or if there is any other way to create tht departementfor a more efficient work .

However, from i understood from ur post, here s wat u can do:
the four divisions can be re-named as :
1. Immigration Department
2. Facilities & Administration Department
3. HR Department : Recruitments Wing and Employee Relations Wing
I did not understand the job of a labour in ur organization and what is the exact difference between a labour and staff w.r.t your org.
as far as Job descriptions are concerned,, its hard to give u any without knowing wat exactly each of these departments are expected to do.
if u give me these details, may b i can help u better.

dear deepthi my imigration departement has the duty to apply for residence permits visa renews and to apply all those in a mentionned period of time so we don t go into penalty period.Plus it has the duty of archiving and creating files about pple working in the corporate and there i have a prob regarding the way of creating those file and the way od documanting them (by number by nationality by joining time of work...)
it also has to save those information on the h.r. computer programme (oracle
as for the fac. and adm. dep it has the duty of housing and solving any housing prob in the labour camps(as in qatar labours must live in camps and laboura are those who work on sites)
and the staff housing probs(those working in administration and engineers )
plus to help them in transportation issues
- the hr dep has the duty to solve my personnel prob that appears during work (fights,missunderstoods personal probs etc...)
and i have another question does recruitnent has to be on corporate level or each company by itself???? 10x in advance
