Hello Everyone, Can we be obtain an exemption in order to maintain Muster roll under factories act & instead maintain a computerised record available as per our punching data?

Exemption under Factories Act / Payment of wages Act is given on a clear proof of maintaining some other format. All the details required in the Muster roll & Pay Slip, are maintained, in some other format, or on electronic data, and should be made available to workmen in time.
If you can prove your electronics data format printout, contains the particular required to be maintained, then take a print out, and with a covering letter to Chief Inspector of Factories for exemption, with required stamp fee affixed on the covering note.
