I had been confirmed for the role of Assistant Manager at Axis Bank. I received confirmation through email and over the phone as well. However, it has been two months since the confirmation, and I have not yet received the offer letter. The HR department now informs me that the post has been put on hold due to a communication gap with the head office. They have asked me to wait for a few more days but have not provided an approximate timeframe for when the offer letter will be processed. What does this situation mean? Can anyone suggest?
