Dear sirs,
I have submitted my resignation letter on 22.03.2018, wherein I have mentioned my date of last working day will be on 31.03.2018. But till now (as on 13.04.2018) the Company has not issued me the relieving letter. As the Company has not paid the march 2018 salary I am still working in the same Company.
My doubt is that whether the date of resignation is 31.03.2018 or my last working day in the Company.
I would be grateful to you if I get clarifications.

Dear Prasad,
There is no mention about the fact whether your resignation was accepted or not. Even after the effective date mentioned in your resignation, you are allowed to continue in the job implies that your resignation has not yet been accepted by your employer. In such a situation, your contract of employment comes to an end only on the date of relief consequent on the acceptance of your resignation. Pl. check whether you have complied with notice clause, if any in your appointment orders or service regulations of the organization.

Thanks for your valuable information. There is no specific notice period mentioned in the Appointment letter which was issued to me on 10.10.2012. Now the management has been changed. Whenever the employee submit the resignation letter, the CEO send reply stating that 'you have to serve three moths notice'. After submission of resignation letter only we are getting notice period clause through email. I have an offer from other company in my hand. But my CEO is not accepting my resignation and convincing me to continue the services. Frankly say there is no future in the existing company. Here it is a routine policy that who puts the resignation, they will stop the last month salary. Till now they have not paid the March month salary. After getting March month salary, once again I would like to request the CEO about the revilement. If I request today or tomorrow they may stop my March month salary. I too loss for this 15 days salary i.e., 1 to 15th April 2018 also. Can I have your valuable suggestion sir.
