I'm a fresher and I"m confused, how to frame a HR policies for start up company. And our company is based on software development (IT field) so please anyone advise me what are the mandatory HR policies need to follow in an organisation.

Leave policy
Time & attendance policy
Dress Code policy
Ethics policy
Data security policy
Safety policy
& Some procedures such as
Hiring procedure
Training & development
Appraisal procedure
Etc..
Later you can try & develop more policies on requirement
