thank you for the suggestion, but here we already have policies, and our seniors will not show any interest in trainings, because our team work schedule is so tight, and they have much work to finish in small time.

Dear Ms. Neha,
You can initiate few employee beneficial / involvement activities :
(1) You can create and distribute suggestions / feedback formats pertaining to your HR/Admin activities in your organization.
(2) Some fun games for employees to be played on monthly basis.
(3) Create groups and start positive competition by some fun activities and give small gifts to the winners.
(4) Birthday celebrations, drawing/outdoor games etc. can be started, if not done now.
Before starting the same consult your senior first and then only go ahead. As you told, the number of employees are 18-20 only then it shouldn't so difficult, I hope. First you need to have a short feedback on engagement of employees and then only proceed further.

Anurag

Dear Neha,
Once even I was in your shoes. What I did was I studied the all the policies and observed the work culture. Noted the changes to be made, took suggestions on it from my Seniors and implemented them.
Nobody will tell you what to do. You have to decide what you can do. It is you who has to find opportunities and work towards them.
Your goal should be to learn and make your organisation a happy place to work.
Thanks & Regards

Dear Neha
It shall not happen in the company that HR people sitting idle. You may analyze the existing situation of the company & think how human resource can be utilized to improve the productivity of your company.
You may improve MIS, Introduce new formats etc.
Also find new concepts existing in corporates & introduce in your company.
Always remember, We work for company, but learn for ourselves..................

Hi Neha,
Invest your time in being able to take some additional responsibility. May be you can assist in building a in-house newsletter where thoughts, ideas are presented. You may also try to invest some time in understanding the nuances of Project Management, Business Analysis etc. This way you will add value to yourself. Your technical experts may not have the time to answer questions, but learn by observing and following what they try to do.
You may also try to organize week-end activity after office hours say for 30 or 45 minutes something like Thank God Its Friday (TGIF) which may be interactive in nature with games, entertainment etc.
Hope this suggestion helps.

Thank you for the suggestion,
Yes I have been doing this thing, reading policy, and studying work culture, and suggesting changes. But there is a limit to this thing, if i will always do this thing , my seniors would get a wrong impression. It may convey the message that I am dissatisfied with so many current policies / work culture, and may take it as negatively.
At the same time I am trying to analyse the needs and trying to fulfill those.
