The above list contains holidays as per Negotiable Instruments Act but the holidays applicable to factories and other establishments need not be the same, but should be 4 national holidays (26th January, 1st may, 15th August and 2nd October) and nine festival holidays which can be decided by the management in consultation with the employees.
