I joined Cognizant 6 months back and resigned within 15 days for joining TCS. The reason I gave for resigning Cognizant was abroad higher studies which was totally fake. I was not able to serve the notice period, hence paid then 66k INR before the last working day and got the full and final release letter (I did not absconded).
I am not happy with the opportunities I am getting in TCS, hence planning to resign it and attend an interview in Cognizant again (we don't have much option in my hometown, hence opting for Cognizant again).
Below are some of the queries I have:
1) I did not absconded my job in Cognizant during my short tenure of 15 days with them, I paid them the entire fine amount before leaving the company. Will I be able to apply and join them again? The only worry I have is does Cognizant have any internal policies which might stop me for the re-hire since I quit within 15 days?
2) I am planning to inform them in advance during the interview itself that I was with them for 15 days in my previous tenure with Cognizant (I don't like to hide anything from my employer) - Is this a correct decision? Or, I should hide the same?
3) Last time the reason I gave for resigning was abroad higher studies which was totally fake. How to deal with this when the HR asks me on this? Need some solid reasons tackle this - Please suggest.
4) HR might ask that I joined TCS immediately after resigning Cognizant which means the reason I gave for my last resignation (i.e. abroad higher studies) was fake - How to deal with this?
Please advice, its really urgent for me.

If the company (Cognizant) has no other option but to hire you, then the HR of Congnizant will hire you and forget whatever you did when you were with them, ie, joining them and after just 15 days resigning putting all the efforts of HR (recruiter ) in water, your fake reason etc etc. On the other hand, if they have plenty of options, a lot of CVs available, then do not go for interview there, because, I am very to say that, a right HR will not hire you! This being my opinion, I don't go in deep about the questions you have asked.
