Dear All,
I have resigned from my MNC company and after a month I have revoked it(taken back).
But due to some personal issues, I need to give resignation again. But my HR is saying there are some locking period/ policies that after Revoking Resignation I can not give resignation for next 6 months.
As per my knowledge there should not be any policy or rule like this, as if any employee want to leave any company , he/she must be relieved.
Also there is no such condition given in Appointment Letter or anywhere I have accepted this condition.
Kindly guide me urgently.
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
There is no such statutory norms wherein after revoking the resignation one cannot give it again. It is advised that please refer your appointment letter once again you might have accepted any such clause mentioned in the same.

Sir,
There is no such clause mentioned in Appointment Letter given by company.
Kindly guide if any legal action need to be taken.
But legal action can destroy my career or this company will give bad remarks on Relieving letter, this is the tension.

First of all submit your resignation let them deny the acceptance in writing with the clause stating that employee cannot submit resignation for a period of 6 months from revoking the earlier resignation. As such there is no provision/rule/law, it is just tactics

Hi
There is no such lock in period at all. As you gave resignation letter 2nd time, the co., annoyed & wanted to teach you a lesson. So they bluff "locking period". Send resignation letter to HR, marking to your line manager through email, on the same request them to acknowledge it immediatley & to reply the acceptance letter within 5 working days & to relieve you within specified stipulated notice period. If they company fails to reciprocate it, then legally notice to them that your resignation is considered implled as the co., failed to respond. Then you will be relieved
