Dear All Seniors,
I want to know about PL calculation.
till now i will generate 1 PL after 22 working days every month. we are not generate PL end of the year. but we are generate along with during the year.so i want to know that if in current month any employee who had worked only 20 days, so should i have to generate 1 PL after 2 working days in next month?
If i will generate only 1 PL in next moth after working days of 22. than his previous 20 days of working become laps. so what should i do.
For example : In November 1 employee had worked only 20 days and in December he had worked 24 days, so should i have to generate 2 PL in December or only 1 PL
Thanx And Regards

From which act you refer to calculate the PL, As per the Act it should not be less than 18 PL in a year. If an employee avail the PL in between the year you can give them on pro rata basis which is equivalent to 1.5 PL per month or more.
Nowhere it is written that you have to count 22 working days to get 1 PL as per your query. Please also let us know whether your company comes under Factory Act or S&E Act, If S&E then which state, please state so as to guide you further appropriately.

If your earlier HR has done anything wrong, does not state that you have to carry it along. Change it ASAP, also make a policy if you do not have.
