I have 6+ yrs experience in recruitment alone. Now i am getting a new opportunity to work as HR generalist (Plant HR) role in our new factory. we have separate Team members for recruitment,Training, OD etc.,
Please provide the suggestions to strengthen my role (Job Description) as a Plant HR.

Plant-HR is responsible for the followings:
1. Execution HR Policies/Strategies made by Corporate HR Team. Updating Corporate HR Team on the feedback from the employees on policies.
2. Identification of the training needs of people in Plant and Communication on the same to Corporate Training Team.
3. All HR related activities in Plant like Recruitment, Induction, Training, PMS and Employee Engagement Activities etc
4. Statutory Compliance.
Your Company may have Corporate - HR team but they will work only on the strategies/policies and ensure system in place. The effectiveness of HR Strategies/Policies depends on Plant -HR. HR representative of each plant should take policies & strategies forward for implementation and should update the feedback to Corporate HR Team.
They will not directly get into Plant HR activities but act through you. So need to play a greater role as Plant -HR.
