Hi Friends,
Recently i have applied for PF claim after a gap of 5 years. I received the rejection letter from PF office that claim is already settled in 2008. I inquired my previous company regarding it. They forward my mail to there third party service provider and Third party service provider replied that they have received the PF claim application in 2008. I have registered my grievance with EPFO website. What else i should do? Is it possible to get amount now or is it gone case?
Thanks,
Rajvinder

Hi Ravinder.
If you are sure as you have not received any fund from PF then nothing to worry. You have to fight for that & you will get it. Ask the Third party service provider to give the details for claiming PF fund & to which account the same has been to transferred.
As already registered grievance online it is better to approach PF commissioner in the relevant office
Thanks

Please check your bank accounts since 2008 and see whether there was any remittance from EPFO. If not take xerox of your PF accounts pass book since 2008 to till date (or) if do not have pass book, get statement of your SB account from your Bank since 2008. After ensuring that you had not received any payment from EPFO, send a letter to the concerned PF SRO, with the details of your PF account number, Bank pass book/account statement xerox, through the 3rd party service provider of the previous employer, that the earlier settlement payment cheque might have been transferred back to the EPFO SRO and request to re-credit that amount to your bank account..
