Hi,
My PF got rejected, and my account number is TN/MAS/31309/0129280 for the following reason:
Dear Sir/Madam,
This is with reference to your grievance registered under Registration Number RCHEN/E/2013/02452. It is informed that after processing your grievance, the following action(s) have been taken: the claims have been returned on 21.1.2013 for clarification regarding contributions. Therefore, we are closing your grievance from this office. Please quote the same in your future correspondence.
Note: It's a system-generated reply; hence, it does not require a signature. Please do not reply to it.
My previous company has not received any rejection letter yet. Please help me with how I can proceed and how long it will take if I resubmit it. I resigned on July 14th, 2012, but I still haven't had that claim processed. I am very sad now. Can anybody please help me?
Regards,
Krishna

Your PF contribution done by your previous company was not clear. They may need to submit a detailed Form 3A which will state your every month PF contribution from the date of your joining till the time you were in that organization. Then, your PF will get processed.
You need to contact your previous company and inform them of this reason for rejection. They will then issue a new letter in your name, have you sign it, attach the proper 3A form, and reprocess it with the PF office. Otherwise, they will ask you to fill out Form 19 and 10 C once again as you did initially.
Don't worry, nobody can take your PF amount from you.

Hi there,
Don't worry. You are not alone. Visit the EPFO website. There, you will find all the information about the ratio of claims passed and claims rejected, state-wise/region-wise/sub-region wise. All the relevant papers are in the hands of the Clerk. He says the papers have not been received. Even if you submit them again, he will still say the papers have not been received. The company is to blame. The consultant is to blame. The Clerk of EPFO is not to blame because he has all the papers in his hand, but they are weightless. GOD BLESS THE EPFO AND THIS COUNTRY.

Hi,
Thank you for providing this information. I have checked with my company, and they have informed me that they have not received the rejection letter yet. Can we inquire with the PF department about the dispatch details so that I can track the rejection letter? Please advise.

The EPFO must have returned the claim for clarification regarding your contribution. Take a printout of this letter and approach the concerned PF office authority, and they will give you the details of the rejection letter along with the acknowledgment. If I am not wrong, they will mark a copy to the claimant too. Please check.
Last but not least, get the statement of PF contribution from your previous employer, and on the safer side, file the claim once again with the statement.

Dear Krishna,
I read the above suggestions and I also want to share some with you. Is it true that from this financial year, it is not compulsory for the employer to submit to EPFO due to the online process for submitting challan?
Also, regarding your rejection, please contact EPFO and inquire about the reason for your rejection. I am sure you will receive a positive reply.
Thanks
